About the Role
The Budds' Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC Parts department is seeking a skilled Parts Associate to join our team in the position of Wholesale/Front Counter Parts Associate. This dynamic role involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of accuracy in parts ordering and inventory management.
Daily Responsibilities
- Assist customers with parts needs, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.
- Respond to telephone calls and emails from mechanical and body shop customers, providing expert advice and support.
- Assist retail customers with parts inquiries and sales.
- Maintain stock and inventory levels, ensuring optimal storage and organization.
- Provide shipping and receiving assistance, ensuring seamless logistics.
- Order parts in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing delays.
- Stay up-to-date on software and reports, ensuring accurate data analysis and decision-making.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workplace, adhering to company standards.
- Support the back/tech counter team as needed, providing additional support and expertise.
Requirements
- Parts counter experience is preferred, but not required.
- A strong understanding of automotive knowledge is essential.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills are crucial for success in this role.
- Knowledge of inventory monitoring practices is necessary for accurate stock management.
- Excellent communication and sales skills are required to provide exceptional customer service.
- Computer proficiency is necessary for efficient data entry and software management.
The company is seeking a team member who is proficient in time management, organization, and maintaining positive relationships with a high degree of communication. Hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, and every third Saturday from 8 am to 12 pm. Flexibility is required when necessary.
