Job SummaryAs a Respiratory Therapist with Southern Health-Santé Sud, you will have the opportunity to provide therapeutic, diagnostic, technical, and teaching respiratory therapy services to patients. Working under the general supervision of the Manager Health Services, you will be responsible for engaging in ongoing education and maintaining competency congruent with Southern Health-Santé Sud policies, Professional Standards of Practice, and the Regulated Health Professions Act.
Key Responsibilities- Provides therapeutic, diagnostic, technical, and teaching respiratory therapy services to patients.
- Works under the general supervision of the Manager Health Services.
- Engages in ongoing education and maintains competency.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Recent and related clinical experience.
- An entry-to-practice academic credential in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited Canadian program or a MARRT approved equivalent.
- Current registration with the MARRT.
- A valid Class 5 driver's license, an all-purpose insured vehicle, and liability insurance of at least $1,000,000.00.
The estimated salary for this position is between $36,320 and $43,370 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
