As a Deals Desk Analyst at Trafigura, you will play a critical role in optimising supply chains and developing infrastructure for our rapidly changing world.

The Role entails measuring, verifying, reporting and mitigating risks arising out of the physical and derivative natural gas business, ensuring that our trading models and strategies are aligned with our risk appetite.

You will be responsible for product level management and reporting of Risk, Exposures and P&L arising out of physical and derivative natural gas trading strategies, generating forward curves used to mark-to-market the business on a daily basis.

We require an individual with 2-4 years of experience in physical & derivative natural gas markets, including underlying structures and instruments.

The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of trading models and trading strategies, along with expertise in Trading and Risk Management System, especially Allegro.

Familiarity with Excel, SQL, and Python is a must, as well as strong work-ethic & organisational skills, excellent communication, and multi-tasking ability.
