We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Datacenter Technician to join our team at Microsoft Canada. As a key member of our Cloud Operations & Innovation group, you will play a critical role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for our online services.

Our team is responsible for managing a large global portfolio of over 200 data centers in 32 countries, supporting services for more than 1 billion customers and 20 million businesses worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop an understanding of standard processes and procedures for preparing, installing, performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, replacing, and/or decommissioning equipment.
  • Work under the guidance of more experienced data center colleagues to develop your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of our data center environment, security, and data management procedures.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to support services and drive innovation.
