Design and Develop Cutting-Edge Automation Solutions

As a key member of our dynamic team, you'll contribute to the creation of world-class automation systems. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, from conceptualizing machine designs to developing control software, integrating it with electrical and mechanical systems, and overseeing its implementation at customer sites globally.

You'll be working with leading-edge technologies and processes, including PLCs, PCs, robotics, motion controllers, vision systems, lasers, and other advanced controllers.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop software programs (PLC and/or PC based) tailored to specific customer and project requirements, adhering to established ATS programming methodologies.
  • Debug and commission control systems during the integration phase and at customer locations.
  • Travel as needed to customer and supplier sites for installation, commissioning, and training purposes.
  • Select, test, and integrate hardware and software components such as robots, motion controllers, sensors, and vision systems.
  • Collaborate with teams to enhance safety, functionality, and cost-effectiveness of automation solutions.
  • Ensure that projects adhere to or exceed budget and schedule targets.
  • Work closely with customers and other teams to deliver comprehensive automation systems.
  • Conduct thorough testing of machine functionality and provide accurate project documentation.
  • Provide technical problem-solving guidance to customers and deliver project-specific training.
Qualifications:
  • A post-secondary engineering degree, diploma, or equivalent in mechanical, electrical, systems, or computer engineering.
  • Proven programming, mechanical, and electrical problem-solving skills. Excellent communication abilities.
  • Understanding of robotics, control systems, and machine operation is highly desirable.
  • A self-starter capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
