About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Crest Hotel. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage food costs, inventory, and sales records to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and other support personnel.
  • Develop and implement menus, ensuring high-quality dishes that meet customer expectations.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and execute special events and functions.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
