National Account Manager
Reporting to the Director, Retail Sales, the National Account Manager is responsible for driving business growth and achieving annual volume targets associated with designated Retail Accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic business plan to increase sales and market share within assigned Retail Customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute merchandising support plans, maximizing customer advertising and promotional activity.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, identifying opportunities to drive business growth and profitability.
- Work closely with internal teams, including Supply Chain, Demand Planning, and Finance, to ensure alignment and effective execution of business plans.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to drive growth.
Requirements:
- University Degree or College Diploma with minimum 3-5 years of industry experience.
- Experience in the protein industry preferred (but not required).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish relationships.
- Understands and practices solution selling; willingness to develop sales strategies and motivated to learn more.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to travel.
