We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bilingual Deskside Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Morson Talent (Canada & USA). As a key member of our IT support team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our end-users, ensuring seamless operations of our IT infrastructure, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Desktop Support: Provide expert-level technical support for end-user computing, including software installation, troubleshooting, and assistance.
- AV Equipment Support: Maintain and support AV equipment in conference rooms, ensuring smooth operations and providing additional audio/video requirements for events such as town hall meetings, video teleconferencing (VTC), and webcasts.
- Printer Support: Ensure smooth printer operations and provide support as needed.
- Operating System Deployment: Install, test, and deploy Windows operating systems and images.
- IT Security: Ensure all IT practices align with Security policies and maintain the highest level of security standards.
- IT Procurement: Manage IT purchase requisitions and ensure timely delivery of required equipment.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT hardware and equipment.
- Communication: Provide professional and effective communication with end-users and stakeholders, delivering outstanding customer service at all times.
- Customer Service: Exceptional customer service skills, with a strong ability to follow up and resolve issues.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, professional when interacting with customers, employees, management, and guests.
- Task Prioritization: Strong task prioritization and time management abilities.
- Problem-Solving: Resourceful and skilled in problem-solving, demonstrating good judgment.
- Troubleshooting: Proficient in troubleshooting and conducting thorough research to resolve issues.
- Documentation: Strong documentation, organization, and record-keeping abilities.
- Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems, proficiency with Microsoft 365, and strong understanding of system interactions and dependencies.
- Language: Bilingual (French & English).
- Education: Community college diploma in a related technical field or 2 years of relevant IT support experience.
- Experience: Previous experience providing IT support in an office environment is an asset.
