Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Okotoks Suds Car & Truck Wash. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to office staff, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
- Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
- Coordinate and plan for office services, including accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
- Perform tasks such as reviewing and evaluating new administrative procedures, delegating work to office support staff, establishing work priorities, and ensuring procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
- Train staff and oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures.
- Resolve conflict situations and provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers, and refugees.
Requirements
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
- 3-4 years of experience in an administrative role.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
