The United Church of Canada is seeking a highly skilled Regional Council Administrator to join their team on a permanent full-time basis (35 hours per week). As a key member of the organization, you will provide administrative support to the Executive Minister and Regional Councils, ensuring the smooth operation of meetings and record-keeping.

Located in Western Ontario, this role requires strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a senior administrative role, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Preparation for and attendance at Executive and Regional Council meetings;
  • Supporting the Executive Minister in their duties;
  • Maintaining accurate records of regional council proceedings;
  • Managing information and resources effectively;
  • Representing the governing official as needed.

In exchange for your expertise, you can expect a competitive salary range of $49,462 to $65,950 per year, based on category 4 of the 2024 salary scale. This includes access to pension and group benefit plans, as well as annual vacation time.

To be successful in this role, you will require strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. You must also be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with a willingness to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
