Lead Hand, Mixing Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Hand to join our team at Baxter's Alliston facility. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our products.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity in the Viaflex Mixing Department.
- Lead cross-functional teams to drive projects and initiatives that improve manufacturing processes and quality.
- Develop and implement 6S initiatives to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with contractors and internal teams to complete tasks and projects.
- Generate Critical Work Requests and coordinate validation activities as required.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 3-6 years of experience in manufacturing, quality, or continuous improvement in a GMP environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead and develop staff.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
