We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Birds and Beets Food Group Inc. as a key member of our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
    • Work closely with our culinary team to ensure seamless execution of menu items and exceptional customer service.
  • Supply Chain Management
    • Source and procure high-quality ingredients and supplies to support our menu offerings.
    • Manage inventory levels and optimize supply chain operations to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
  • Team Leadership and Development
    • Lead and mentor a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
    • Provide coaching and feedback to team members to promote growth and development.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Ensure that all menu items meet our high standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience as a senior chef or executive chef in a high-volume kitchen.
    • Degree in culinary arts or related field.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Proven track record of menu planning and execution, supply chain management, and team leadership.
    • Excellent culinary skills, including cooking, plating, and presentation.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
