Clinical Dietitian

As a Clinical Dietitian at Baycrest, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and nutrition expertise. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough nutrition assessments, developing and implementing personalized nutrition plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and document comprehensive nutrition assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective care plans.
- Plan, monitor, and implement nutrition interventions to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Update patient nutritional care plans and participate in care conferences to ensure continuity of care.
- Provide personalized nutrition education and counseling to patients, families, and healthcare staff.
- Supervise clinical dietetics students to foster their growth and development.
Qualifications:
- Current membership in the College of Dietitians of Ontario, in good standing.
- Minimum of six months' experience working in a hospital setting.
- Experience in providing enteral nutrition is required.
- Ability to work effectively as a member of an interprofessional team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and specialized nutrition-related software is preferred.
