Job Summary

Baycrest Hospital seeks a skilled Clinical Dietitian to join its Interprofessional Practice Department. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide personalized nutrition care and support.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A strong background in nutrition assessment, planning, and implementation is essential, as well as experience working with geriatric populations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide education and counseling to patients, families, and staff on nutrition-related topics
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Supervise clinical dietetics students and provide mentorship

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the College of Dietitians of Ontario
  • Minimum 6 months' experience in a hospital setting
  • Experience in enteral nutrition and working with interprofessional teams
  • Excellent communication and computer skills
