Director of Sales Opportunity

We are seeking a visionary Director of Sales to lead our dynamic sales organization and drive growth, inspire a high-performing team, and make a significant impact within our company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement effective business development strategies to identify and seize target markets and business opportunities, in line with our company's expansion goals.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and oversee domestic and international sales strategies, including pricing policies, channel approaches, and partner programs to drive growth and profitability.
  • Team Management: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team, cultivating a culture of excellence and motivating the team to achieve revenue targets.
  • Customer Focus: Analyze market trends and customer needs to tailor sales strategies and enhance customer satisfaction. Establish and maintain key customer relationships.
  • Market Analysis: Continuously assess industry trends, competitor activities, and market demand to stay ahead and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Collaboration: Partner with marketing and other departments to achieve business objectives, execute impactful marketing campaigns, and strengthen brand positioning.
  • Reporting & Communication: Present sales updates, key performance metrics, and strategic insights to our Senior Leadership Team and shareholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with company goals.
  • Innovation: Identify opportunities for new product features and solutions, leveraging market research to meet evolving customer needs.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 10-15 years of experience in sales and sales management, with at least 10 years in a B2B food ingredients environment and 5 years in a manufacturing setting.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Food Science, Science, Nutrition, or a related field is preferred. Advanced degrees are a plus.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated success in leadership and project management with a focus on results.
  • Skills: Outstanding organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools like Salesforce.
