Our Atlantic Canada Offices are seeking a Manager to join the Domestic Tax practice and take on the following responsibilities:

  • Lead client engagements for a wide variety of clients, including small and medium enterprises.
  • Identify, develop, and implement strategies for clients to capitalize on business and tax opportunities.
  • Prepare and review tax reorganizations and review corporate, trust, and estate tax returns.
  • Build positive working relationships with clients.
  • Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis.
  • Engage in training staff and invest in the professional development of your team.

Your Experience and Education

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Completed your CPA designation.
  • 5 years' experience in public accounting with a specialization in Tax for a minimum of 2 years.
  • An extensive understanding of relevant tax legislation, corporate, personal, and trust tax planning and compliance.
  • A strong value on teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
