We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to lead our Tax Services team in the EMEA region. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance, efficiency, and alignment with global initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the Tax Services team in the EMEA region, engaging with multiple stakeholders and supporting team members.
- Be the lead contact for the Global Tax Service and wider Global Tax team, ensuring global initiatives and activities are met.
- Identify opportunities to simplify and improve existing processes within the team, enabling additional work to be brought into the tax service framework.
- Execute tax operational activities per agreed framework and process, such as direct/indirect tax coding, manage conditional queries.
- Execute relevant internal controls relates to the underlying Tax Services per agreed framework.
- Handle tax process queries raised for the Region and route the queries to correct resources for issue resolution.
- 5-10 years of professional experience in finance, with a focus on tax management. Large tax experience is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage stakeholders and build collaborative relationships.
- Understanding of ERP systems development, with experience in indirect taxes. Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
- Preferably holds qualifications such as CTA and/or ACCA, with experience in a Big 4 environment.
- Communication and organization skills.
- Outside of the box thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent English (minimum C1).
