We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Sales and Business Development to join our team at Organika Health Products Inc. This is a key leadership role that will be responsible for driving the overall success and growth of our US sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and execute sales targets to meet company objectives and drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement innovative sales plans and strategies to maximize new revenue and expand our customer base.
- Assess and manage sales resources to achieve optimal performance and financial benefit for the business.
- Prospect and hunt new business opportunities that align with our company's vision and mission.
- Lead the sales strategy for all products, including assortment, merchandising, pricing, and shelving initiatives.
- Identify and develop new market opportunities while maintaining and improving existing relationships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment and drive business growth.
- Provide sales insights and recommendations to support business decisions and drive revenue growth.
- Oversee category management processes and reporting systems to ensure sales presentations are data-driven and effective.
- Manage trade spend and customer capabilities teams to optimize sales performance.
- Lead the US sales reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and demand planning processes to ensure alignment with marketing and business objectives.
- Participate in trade shows, sales workshops, and events to drive business growth and expand our customer base.
- Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in sales management within the USA Natural Health or CPG industry.
- Previous experience managing USA Specialty, FDM, and Club customers.
- Sales planning experience and a customer-focused approach.
- Demonstrated experience in developing high-performing sales teams.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and strong analytical skills.
- Goal-oriented, competitive, and well-organized.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, across all levels of the business and external stakeholders.
- Developed skills in leading and creating high-performing teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
