Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director to lead our Strategic Initiatives team in Private Wealth. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, developing strategic plans, and managing projects to achieve desired outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead assigned projects from initiation to implementation, ensuring successful business outcomes.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth.
  • Manage project teams, including project managers, business and technology resources, and external consultants.
  • Identify emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making.
  • Conduct independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues.
  • Manage financial forecasts and conduct ongoing reconciliation.
  • Break down strategic problems and analyze data to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Monitor and track project performance, addressing any issues.

Requirements

  • Typically between 5-7 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field.
  • Project management experience, with a valid PMP designation from the Project Management Institute (PMI) an asset.
  • Entrepreneurial skills, judgment skills, learning agility, stakeholder management, and ability to navigate challenging situations effectively.
  • Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, collaboration and team skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, influence skills, and data-driven decision-making skills.
