Job Description

Purpose LP is a leading financial services company that values innovation and customer-centricity. We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic leader to join our team as a VP, Strategic Initiatives.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the company's strategic initiatives, working closely with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and strategic leader who excels in operational execution, organizational strategy, and executive support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute corporate strategies, ensuring alignment with the company's mission, vision, and long-term goals.
  • Oversee the OKR process, including the development, tracking, and reporting of OKRs across the organization.
  • Facilitate strategic planning sessions, helping to translate the CEO's vision into actionable plans.
  • Ensure that strategic initiatives are prioritized, resources are allocated effectively, and execution is monitored for success.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, providing insights, recommendations, and support on key strategic decisions.
  • Manage the CEO's priorities, ensuring that time and resources are focused on the most critical strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and manage processes for effective resource allocation, ensuring that the company's resources are deployed in alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Lead cross-functional team prioritization, ensuring that milestones are met and objectives are achieved.
  • Drive relentless improvement by evaluating program performance and implementing process enhancements.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to drive organizational change and foster a culture of accountability and execution.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, or a senior operational role, with a focus on strategy execution.
    • Experience working directly with C-suite executives, particularly in a Chief of Staff or similar capacity.
    • Proven track record of leading and executing large-scale strategic initiatives in a complex organizational environment.
  • Skills:
    • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a keen understanding of business dynamics in the financial services industry.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus at all levels of the organization.
    • High level of organizational and project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
    • Proficiency in using data and analytics to drive decision-making and monitor performance.
    • Strong understanding of Lean and Agile practices.
    • Certification in Project Management or Agile methodologies is a plus.
