Job Title: Food Service Supervisor
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Quesada Burritos & Tacos. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth and improvement.
- Prepare and submit reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Establish work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels and promoting a healthy work-life balance.
Work Environment:
- Work under pressure, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor in fast-paced environments.
- Stand for extended periods, moving frequently to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all aspects of food preparation and service.

Support for Newcomers and Refugees:
- Assist with immediate settlement needs, providing support with housing, transportation, storage, childcare, and winter clothing.
- Recruit newcomers and refugees who were displaced by conflict or natural disaster, promoting diversity and inclusion.
- Support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition, facilitating their integration into the workforce.
Work Term: Permanent
Work Language: English
Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
