Assistant Pharmacy Manager Job Description

At Save-On-Foods, we're committed to delivering exceptional customer service and providing a positive work environment for our team members. As an Assistant Pharmacy Manager, you'll play a key role in achieving this goal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy dispensary, ensuring efficient receipt, preparation, packaging, dispensing, distribution, and storage of drugs and pharmaceuticals.
  • Provide clinical support, including drug use evaluation, medication reviews, adaptations, injection administration, prescription and non-prescription counseling, and recommendations.
  • Compound prescribed pharmaceutical products by accurately calculating, measuring, and mixing the required quantities of drugs and other ingredients, and filling containers with the correct quantities.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and community partners to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Manage inventory, schedule team members, provide training, and enforce policies and best practices related to pharmacy practice and drug distribution.
  • Identify business strengths and patient needs, and develop and implement strategies to drive growth and improvement.
Requirements:
  • Pharmacist license in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia or equivalent regulatory body.
  • Injection certification.
