We are seeking innovative, patient-focused professionals to join our team as Assistant Department Manager, Pharmacy. This role is a developmental position that prepares individuals for the responsibilities of the Pharmacy Manager position.
This position requires a strong understanding of pharmacy operations, customer service, and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy with 2-3 years of pharmacy experience, strong supervisory skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the pharmacy meets all provincial pharmacy regulatory body and legislative requirements
- Foster professionalism, good business practices, and a strong work ethic
- Operate the pharmacy efficiently, focusing on staff productivity, staff training, team building, and payroll usage
- Resource planning, addressing manpower needs, staff performance standards, training, and development plans
- Ensure all company directives, policies, and procedures are well communicated and executed
- Ensure good inventory control and measures are in place
- Build the pharmacy business and increase pharmacy sales and profit
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy with 2-3 years of pharmacy experience
- Strong supervisory skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of self-motivation and resourcefulness
- Good organizational skills and diligence
- Good business sense
