Key Responsibilities:- Oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations, ensuring efficient dispensary management, receiving, preparation, packaging, and storage of drugs and pharmaceuticals.
- Provide clinical expertise, including drug use evaluation, medication reviews, adaptations, injection administration, prescription and non-prescription counseling, and recommendations.
- Compound prescribed pharmaceutical products by accurately calculating, measuring, and mixing quantities of drugs and other ingredients, and filling containers with the correct quantity.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and community partners to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Manage inventory, schedule team members, and provide training and development opportunities.
- Identify business strengths and patient needs, and develop and implement growth strategies and plans.
- Enforce policies and best practices related to pharmacy practice and drug distribution.
- Pharmacist license in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia or equivalent regulatory body.
- Injection certification.
- State-of-the-art pharmacy workflow design and enabling technologies.
- Health screening, pharmacogenomics, point-of-care testing, vaccinations, travel health, and medication management services.
- Online training through our learning management system and accredited sites.
- Medication management programs and clinical resources.
- Pharmacy automation.
- Central fill dispensing and processing.
