Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Client Relationship Specialist to join our team at Equitable Life of Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the installation of new business, providing support to our Group Account Executives, and processing complex amendments and employee notices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the installation of new business by working with policyholders, advisors, and head office staff.
  • Provide support to our Group Account Executives in managing client relationships.
  • Process complex amendments and employee notices in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with group plan administrators to ensure high levels of policyholder service.
  • Coordinate and host benefit installation meetings with clients and/or advisors.
  • Deliver employee benefit presentations to clients and/or advisors.
  • Respond to inquiries from policyholders, certificate holders, advisors, and head office staff on complex administrative or escalated claim situations.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of prior experience with group, life, and health products is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to travel occasionally.
  • Group Product knowledge is essential.
  • Knowledge of government plans as they integrate with group plans.
  • Post-secondary education and training in a related field.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Sound knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Bilingual skills (French/English) are an asset.
