About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Shieldco Consulting Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation
    • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes
    • Source high-quality ingredients and suppliers
    • Lead a team of cooks in the preparation and presentation of menu items
  • Culinary Operations
    • Oversee kitchen operations, including food safety and sanitation
    • Manage inventory and supplies
    • Ensure efficient use of kitchen equipment and resources
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and motivate a team of cooks and kitchen staff
    • Provide coaching and training to improve skills and performance
    • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in a senior culinary role
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge
    • Strong leadership and team management skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Attention to detail and high standards of quality
