About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Coast Nisku Inn & Conference Centre. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our guests.

Staff Supervision and Training

Supervise and train our kitchen staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional service.

Inventory Management

Manage our inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we have the resources needed to meet our culinary goals.

Quality Control

Ensure that all food and beverages served to our guests meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role

Skills

Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures

Work Environment

Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and work under pressure
