About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Coast Nisku Inn & Conference Centre. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our guests.

Staff Supervision and Training

Lead and motivate our kitchen staff to ensure that they are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to deliver exceptional service.

Inventory Management

Oversee the management of our kitchen inventory, including food, supplies, and equipment, to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively.

Quality Control

Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Requirements
  • Education

A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience

At least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a cook or in a related role is required.

Skills and Abilities

Excellent culinary skills, including cooking, baking, and presentation.

Work Environment

A fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and the need to work under pressure.
