Job Title: Orthotics Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Orthotics Assistant to join our team at Academy Foot and Orthotic Clinics.

Job Summary:

The Orthotics Assistant will work closely with our healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient services and is looking to develop their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer tests and instruct patients on test procedures
  • Record results and monitor, check, and calibrate auditory equipment
  • Assist healthcare professionals with patient care and treatment programs
  • Clean and maintain equipment and supplies
  • Operate and maintain sterilization equipment and instrumentation
  • Maintain supplies and inventory of equipment
  • Document patient rehabilitation progress
  • Process files and paperwork
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing and walking
