Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Orthotic Clinic Assistant to join our team at Academy Foot and Orthotic Clinics. As an Orthotic Clinic Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer tests using equipment, instruct patients on test procedures, and record results, and monitor, check, and calibrate auditory equipment.
  • Assist healthcare professionals in various tasks, including preparing and maintaining equipment and supplies.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, operate and maintain sterilization equipment and instrumentation for re-use according to standardized safety practices.
  • Maintain supplies, inventory of equipment, and document patient rehabilitation progress.
  • Process files and paperwork, schedule and confirm appointments, and manage routine office functions.
Work Environment

Our clinic is located in an urban area, and as an Orthotic Clinic Assistant, you will work in a medical clinic setting. You will be required to stand for extended periods, have manual dexterity, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience.
  • Excellent client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player skills.
