About the Role

Molson Coors Beverage Company is seeking a skilled Category Manager to join our Marketing Activation and Customer Solutions team. As a key contributor, you will play a critical role in driving growth and category expansion for our assigned chain accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive category reviews by integrating data from various sources, including Nielsen, Retailer POS, and others, to establish yourself as a reliable and valued category expert for the assigned retailers.
  • Identify insights and emerging business opportunities through the analysis of perfect store pillars, including category reviews, shelf space allocation, assortment strategy, and adjacency recommendations of planograms.
  • Work collaboratively with account teams on sales call approaches and plans, enhancing the utilization of analytics and insights within the Customer Sales team for the assigned retailers.
  • Implement annual plans agreed with customers, ensuring activations align with brand strategies and Perfect Store tools elevate the category.
  • Assist in developing planogram concepts for assigned retailers and conduct postmortem analyses of programs to evaluate successes and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Lead sampling strategies for assigned customers.
Requirements
  • Proven ability to use data and analytics to drive insights and recommendations that support business strategies and drive growth for the category.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience across category management, data analysis, consumer research, statistics, or sales in the CPG industry.
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint software.
  • Working knowledge of Nielsen IQ, JDA/Blue Yonder Space Planning software, and Retailer POS experience is an asset.
  • Strong written and verbal selling skills.
