As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and installing multimedia systems and technologies, including video, audio, security, controls, and other systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance multimedia systems and technologies to ensure seamless delivery of services and operations.
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 client support for the installation, maintenance, and urgent problem-solving of systems.
  • Collaborate with the team to design, test, and implement systems and equipment to respond to unique client requirements and event support parameters.
  • Assist with the management of small- to medium-sized projects, helping to define requirements, designing, documenting, testing, creating, and implementing technical solutions and systems.
  • Provide high-level client relations and effective handling of service requests and technical issues.

Requirements

  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering Technician or a related field, or an acceptable combination of education and/or relevant experience and training.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in technical support and problem-solving for a wide range of EISS (Enterprise Integrated Security Systems) equipment and systems.
  • Experience in the design, testing, and implementation of systems and equipment to respond to unique client requirements and event support parameters.
  • Experience assisting with the management of small- to medium-sized projects.
  • Experience with high-level client relations and effective handling of service requests and technical issues.

Assets

  • Knowledge of various technical equipment, including intrusion, access control, video surveillance, physical barriers, intercoms, and communication devices.
  • Knowledge of the principles of electronics.
  • Knowledge of how to assemble equipment racks, reading plans and technical diagrams, and thermal, cable, and electrical systems management.
  • Experience and/or training in programming systems, including Lenel, Genetec, Milestone, TRAKA, Bosch, Jupiter, and Raritan.
  • Knowledge of the principles of network computing, including types of routers and switches, basic IP, and MAC.
