Festival Assistant - Digital Media Specialist

Join the Ottawa Festival Network team as a Festival Assistant - Digital Media Specialist. This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with our Festival Director and Festival Coordinator to support the planning and execution of our annual festival.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Festival Director and Festival Coordinator with event planning and coordination
  • Assist with volunteer outreach and management
  • Help with on-site event support during live events
  • Coordinate festival feedback surveys and analysis
  • Liaise with festival partners and sponsors
  • Support the Social Media & Communications Assistant as needed

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Adaptable and flexible

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Google Business Suite
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Experience in arts administration, event management, or the arts and culture sector an asset

Additional Requirements:

  • Meet the eligibility criteria for Ontario's Job Creation Partnerships (JCP)
  • Have an active Employment Insurance (EI) claim or have previously established an EI benefit period within the last five years

Remuneration:

$ (gross) per week provided by the Province of Ontario
