Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Event Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our convention centre, including managing events, supervising staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

About the Role

  • This is a permanent position with a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Key responsibilities include:
    • Addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
    • Participating in marketing plans and implementing strategies to increase business
    • Negotiating with clients to secure catering and facility bookings
    • Maintaining accurate records of inventory and supplies
    • Conducting performance reviews and providing feedback to staff members
    • Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that client needs are met

Requirements

  • Degree in Hospitality Management or related field (not required but preferred)
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
