About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Mississauga. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech language pathology assistants to provide comprehensive care to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients with a range of speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Conduct assessments and provide therapy sessions to help clients achieve their goals.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Provide education and support to clients and their families to promote social integration and recovery.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to deliver evidence-based care.
Requirements:
- Registration with the College of Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario.
- Community experience is an asset.
- Availability to work flexible hours.
- A valid Vulnerable Sector screening check.
- Bilingualism is preferred.
