About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Mississauga. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathology assistants to provide comprehensive care to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Conduct assessments and provide therapy to help individuals with a range of communication and swallowing challenges.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients' families to facilitate social integration and recovery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and adhere to professional standards.
  • Manage a caseload of referrals from hospitals, home and community, primary care, and other healthcare providers.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the College of Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario.
  • Community experience is an asset.
  • Availability to work flexible hours.
  • A valid Vulnerable Sector screening check.
  • Bilingualism is preferred.
