We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing team in Mississauga.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop a collaborative approach to care for clients and their caregivers.
  • Assess and treat individuals with a range of disorders related to speech, language, and swallowing.
  • Provide specialized testing and therapy designed to meet individual clients' needs.
  • Deliver treatments as per the treatment plan and adjust as needed.
  • Support patients with stroke, paralysis, and hearing impairments to normalize their speech patterns.
  • Help patients who have experienced accidents or traumatic incidents to learn or relearn proper swallowing techniques.
  • Provide therapy and support to patients' families to facilitate social integration and recovery.
  • Abide by the standards of practice set out by the College of Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario.
  • The SLP will be assigned a caseload based on referrals from healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the College of Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario.
  • Community experience is an asset.
  • Availability to work flexible hours.
  • A valid Vulnerable Sector screening check.
  • Bilingualism is preferred.
