About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Field Claims Representative to join our Property team. This role will support the New Brunswick/PEI Field Adjuster team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and analyze information, insurance wording, and damages to determine coverage.
  • Evaluate potential liability by consulting with experts.
  • Negotiate with clients, claimants, attorneys, and insurers to settle claims.
  • Manage field assignments on behalf of internal adjusters.
  • Participate in claims and work management when volume is high.
  • Collaborate with teams, including appraisal, underwriting, and legal.
  • Ensure effective cost management.
  • Stay up-to-date with insurance trends and techniques.
Requirements
  • Hold an Adjuster permit.
  • University degree or relevant training and experience.
  • At least three years of experience as an adjuster, preferably on the road.
  • Commercial claims handling experience is an asset.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Xactanalysis and Xactimate experience is an asset.
  • Ability to travel on short notice.
  • Knowledge of insurance products.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada.
