Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Multi-Lines Claims Adjuster to join our team in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate property (commercial and residential) and casualty claims through thorough investigation and negotiation of settlements in accordance with provincial licensing requirements.

  • Conduct interviews with claimants and witnesses
  • Obtain and review official documents
  • Compare claims information with evidence
  • Determine liability and negotiate settlements
  • Issue cheques and dispose of salvage
  • Pursue subrogation and maintain accurate records
  • Present evidence at legal proceedings and maintain client relationships

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an insurance environment
  • Post-secondary education in an insurance-related field (an asset)
  • Licence or working towards CIP designation
  • Experience in road adjusting, including investigation and reporting of property and casualty claims
  • Working knowledge of Xactimate and XactAnalysis
  • Bilingualism in French (an asset)
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment
