Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Auto Claims Negotiator to join our team. As a key member of our Inside Claims Commercial Lines team, you will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, negotiating and settling commercial auto AB and BI claims on the desktop for one dedicated client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and evaluate commercial auto claims to determine liability and damages
  • Negotiate settlements with claimants and their representatives
  • Direct field adjusters as required to ensure timely and accurate claims resolution
  • Participate in ensuring accurate recording, reporting and presentation of files

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A post-secondary education in an insurance-related field
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial auto claims negotiation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced computer skills, including Office 365 and Windows 10
  • Licensed in multiple provinces, including Alberta and British Columbia
