Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at AIMS 2 HOLDINGS INC. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality standards and presentation.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Kitchen Operations: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Clean kitchen and work areas, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for staff and customers.
  • Recruitment and Management: Recruit and hire staff, managing kitchen operations and maintaining a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate and Food Safety Certificate.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
