Medical Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Pathologist to join our team at Alberta Precision Laboratories. As a Medical Pathologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing diseases and physiological disorders through the examination of laboratory samples and specimens. You will also conduct microscopic and chemical analyses, prepare research papers for publication and presentation, and study the nature, cause, and development of diseases.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose diseases and physiological disorders
- Conduct microscopic and chemical analyses of laboratory samples and specimens
- Prepare research papers for publication and presentation
- Study the nature, cause, and development of diseases
You will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and you must be able to work under pressure. You will also be required to supervise laboratory activities, act as a consultant to other physicians, and train resident pathologists and morgue attendants.
Requirements:- Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC)
- Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE I and MCCQE II)
- Specialty residency training
- Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification Examination
