Job Description

Job Title: Teacher - Grade 7 - Long-Term Occasional (LTO)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Teacher to fill a Long-Term Occasional (LTO) position at St. Jerome CES. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Grade 7 students and will be expected to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Grade 7 students and develop lesson plans that cater to their needs and abilities
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement curriculum
  • Provide support and guidance to students outside of regular class time

Requirements:

  • Valid Ontario Teaching Certificate
  • Experience teaching Grade 7 students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff
  • Commitment to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment
