Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Secondary Long Term Occasional Teacher to join our team at the York Region District School Board. As a Long Term Occasional Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work with students in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and support students in a Secondary setting
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of students
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to ensure student success
Requirements
  • Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) qualification
  • Experience working with students in a Secondary setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
