Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Elementary Long Term Occasional Teacher to join our team at the York Region District School Board. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our students and contribute to the success of our school community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach elementary students in a Long Term Occasional position
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve school goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Member in good standing or in the process of becoming Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) qualified
  • Experience working with elementary students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
