mdf commerce Inc. is a global team of approximately 650 experts who develop a broad set of SaaS solutions to optimize and accelerate commercial interactions of its B2B and B2G customers.

Working in the e-commerce sector, we are currently looking for a Delphi Developer to join our team at Carrus.

Main Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with peers and the product manager to deliver value to customers.
  • Proposing innovative solutions to meet business needs.
  • Participating in the design, development, and deployment of micro-services, API, and web applications.
  • Developing solutions using programming languages and modern cloud concepts.
  • Writing automated tests and writing infrastructure as code.
  • Participating in debugging and problem-solving.
  • Designing and implementing user interfaces for web applications.
  • Building and delivering quality commercial enterprise software in the Microsoft Azure cloud.
  • Performing initial analysis, architecture, development, and testing.
  • Understanding customer needs and building appropriate technical solutions.
  • Being a key participant in product planning, reviews, and backlog maintenance.
  • Reviewing and challenging product requirements to help the team develop optimal solutions.
  • Contributing to ongoing efforts to improve the development process and further automate development and test operations.

Required Background

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or college diploma in software development or other relevant program.
  • 5 years' work experience in a similar position.
  • Mastery of the Delphi language.
  • Knowledge of unit testing, processes, and best practices.
  • Ability to work in an environment undergoing Agile/Scrum/DevOps transformation.
  • Good knowledge of development processes, tools, and methodology.
  • Dynamic, energetic, and solution-oriented.
  • Strong interest in developing technical knowledge and expertise.
  • Good communication skills, good listening skills, customer-oriented.
  • Excellent English and French language skills, both oral and written, due to frequent interactions with English and French speaking internal and external colleagues and partners across Canada (and elsewhere if applicable).

Desirable Assets

  • Experience with relational databases.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of one or more WEB programming languages—Java with Spring, JavaScript (NodeJS), CSS, HTML, TypeScript, SQL, React, etc.
