Delphi Developer

We are currently seeking a talented Delphi Developer to join our dynamic team at Carrus, specializing in the e-marketplaces sector.

• Collaborate closely with peers and product managers to deliver exceptional value to our customers.
• Contribute innovative solutions to meet evolving business needs.
• Participate in the design, development, and deployment of microservices, APIs, and web applications.
• Develop robust solutions utilizing programming languages and modern cloud concepts within the Microsoft Azure environment.
• Write automated tests and implement infrastructure as code practices.
• Actively participate in debugging and problem-solving initiatives.
• Design and implement user interfaces for web applications, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Build and deliver high-quality commercial enterprise software within the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
• Conduct initial analysis, architecture design, development, and testing of solutions.
• Gain a deep understanding of customer requirements and build tailored technical solutions to address their needs.
• Be a key contributor in product planning, reviews, and backlog maintenance, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Review and challenge product requirements to help the team develop optimal solutions.
• Contribute to ongoing efforts to enhance the development process and further automate development and test operations.

• Bachelor's degree or college diploma in software development or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in Delphi programming.
• Mastery of unit testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.
• Ability to thrive in an Agile/Scrum/DevOps transformation environment.
• Strong understanding of development processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Dynamic, energetic, and solution-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
• Excellent communication skills, active listening abilities, and a customer-centric approach.
• Fluency in both English and French, both written and spoken, due to frequent interactions with internal and external stakeholders across Canada (and potentially beyond).

• Experience working with relational databases.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of one or more web programming languages such as Java with Spring, JavaScript (NodeJS), CSS, HTML, TypeScript, SQL, React, etc.
