About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Baker to join our team at D Spot Hamilton. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough and batters for a range of baked goods, including pies, bread, rolls, and sweet treats, according to recipes and special customer orders.
  • Supervision and Training: Supervise and train baking personnel and kitchen staff to ensure high-quality products and efficient production.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure efficient production and minimize waste.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Skills: Ability to distinguish between colors, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
