We are in search of a dynamic and highly driven professional to occupy a pivotal role within our Software Engineering team. As a Lead QA Automation Engineer , you will play a crucial role in our operations.
We require a seasoned Software QA Engineer to contribute to the testing of the next iteration of the WineDirect Platform, WD 2.0. You will collaborate with the software team responsible for developing innovative omni-channel sales, marketing, loyalty, analytics, and subscription automation services. In your capacity as a Lead QA, you will oversee the testing of all facets of design, APIs, and infrastructure, utilizing both automated and manual methodologies within the WD 2.0 cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with developers and the product team to comprehend testing requirements for both new and existing software functionalities.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities effectively.
- Work alongside developers, data scientists, and the product team to understand, create, and execute data migration tasks and tests.
- Conduct risk analysis for complex quality challenges.
- Construct, monitor, and maintain data pipelines, processing jobs, and report findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Develop, execute, and uphold automated and manual test scripts for APIs and FrontEnd UI.
- Configure CI/CD to facilitate automated testing and manage existing and new testing environments.
- Assess both functional and non-functional requirements throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Identify gaps and risks in testing and provide additional coverage as necessary.
- Undertake assigned duties and tasks as required.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Candidates should possess a well-developed sense of empathy, focusing on ensuring optimal experiences for our partners, clients, and end-consumers.
- Over 6 years of relevant experience in SaaS software application testing and automation.
- More than 5 years of experience in Automated and Manual API and Webservice testing (Postman, Insomnia, Rest Assured, etc.).
- At least 3 years of experience in Automated and Manual UI testing (Cypress, Selenium, Robot, etc.).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in performance and load testing (JMeter, LoadRunner, etc.).
- Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages (JavaScript, Ruby, Python, Java, C#/.Net).
- Familiarity with Security, Contract, UAT, Exploratory, and various non-functional testing methodologies.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Git is essential.
- Proficient in integrating and setting up CircleCI, Jenkins, Bamboo, or equivalent CI/CD tools.
- Ability to quickly grasp the responsibilities of platforms, databases, APIs, caching layers, proxies, and other web services within a system.
- Familiarity with AWS Cloud, MSK, and Kafka is advantageous.
