Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Automated Testing: Design and develop automated tests using Selenium, Playwright, REST Assured, and Gatling to identify software problems and ensure high-quality software releases.
  • Test Automation Framework: Maintain and improve the test automation framework and scripts for end-to-end tests, ensuring seamless integration with our development processes.
  • Defect Logging: Log defects with clear reproduction steps and detail defect artifacts in JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and closure.
  • Feature Requirements Review: Coordinate and participate in feature requirements review for testability, sign off on test strategy, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with developers to assist in debugging, testing, and development of tools to help identify defects, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Critical Issue Troubleshooting: Be available to help troubleshoot critical customer issues, including reproducing issues, analyzing application logs, or clarifying intended feature functionality.
  • Regression Testing: Perform automated and manual testing, including regression testing for each release cycle to ensure software meets business and security requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Software Test Developer or as a Developer.
  • Skills: Good understanding of different software testing techniques and when to apply them, self-starter, quick learner, excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Tools and Technologies: Proficient in UI automation using Selenium or Playwright, experience with testing RESTful APIs using Postman or REST Assured, knowledge of performance testing methodologies and tools like Gatling, and familiar with continuous integration pipelines such as Jenkins.
  • Commitment to Quality: Deep commitment and passion for maintaining quality and delivering high-quality software products.
